Farm Aid: Family Farmers Keep America Growing! Volume One Live, which consists of fifteen years of incredible musical highlights from the live event, hit music stores shortly before September's annual Farm Aid benefit, which took place this year in Washington, DC. Bonnie Raitt, Johnny Cash, The Neville Brothers, The Dave Matthews Band, Beck, Deanna Carter, Bryan Adams and, of course, Farm Aid's founders Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, and Neil Young are among the artists featured on the new double cd. In 1985, the trio began began hosting a yearly fund-raiser to help distressed farm communities throughout the United States. The performing artists, many of whom grew up in similar rural areas, donate their performances and cover their own expenses. / Issue 11 - September 7750
