Traditionalists who enjoy Fan Fair's dusty boot stomp setting might be in for a bit of a surprise this summer. The Thirtieth annual ever-growing "love fest" between country music artists and their fans is abandoning it's old fairground boudoir for a larger, more accommodating setting. This June 14-17, main stage shows will be held in the Adelphia Coliseum (home of the Titans) and the popular artist's booths and autograph sessions will be located only a skip away in the nearby Nashville Convention Center. The move allows local fans plus those that pour in from all over the world to have easier access to Nashville's hotels, restaurants, clubs, and particularly the brand new Country Music Hall of Fame.

Another major change is in the scheduling. The scattered week-long schedule of yore has been condensed into a dizzying four-day country music extravaganza. / Issue 12 - September 7830
