The VH-1/Vogue Fashion Awards at the 69th Armory on Park Avenue is THE premiere fashion event of the year! The two fashion powerhouses attracted the hottest and best-dressed celebrities from all areas of entertainment to New York City to attend the show! Several of the awards were chosen by Vogue readers this year.
For Best Personal Style, Male, the winner was RUPERT EVERETT; the Female Best was HEATHER GRAHAM, wearing DOLCE & GABANNA, (Austin Powers: The Spy who Shagged Me and Boogie Nights, girlfriend of Ed Burns). HEATHER LOCKLEAR and PUFF DADDY hosted. The Model of the year was GISELLE; the Avante Garde Designer of the Year was ALEXANDER McQUEEN. MADONNA, wearing CHLOE, attended with best friend STELLA McCARTNEY (daughter of Beatle Paul McCartney).

SHARON STONE attended the award show wearing DONNA KARAN.

SANDRA BULLOCK looked great in DKNY.

MADISON MICHELE, a VJ ON VH-1 and a former Wonderbra model wearing body paint makeup by Joann Gair (of Demi Moore on Vanity Fair fame) and promoting

Looking great as always, HEATHER LOCKLEAR wore DOLCE & GABANNA.

JERI RYAN (7 of 9 on Star Trek Voyager) looking very human.

As it turns out, the VH-1/Vogue fashion awards were just a warm-up for the gala ($1000 per person) black-tie dinner and party at the Costume Institute Premiere for its new show "ROCK STYLE" (see story above). All the stars who came to town for the awards show the previous night stayed around for the glamorous gala and mixed it up with the Manhattan fashionistas, socialites, tycoons, and not very grungy denizens of the local music scene. Lou Bega got the crowd rockin', and the party went on to the wee hours.

One thing's for sure--if you were pretty, famous, rich, or fashionable and could get in to this party, you were there!
