Last year it was Toby Keith and Pamela Lee. This year it was the fabulous Dolly Parton's turn to host country music's hippest award show. CMT's Flameworthy Awards, now in its third year, is country music's only fan-voted awards show. As always, the evening was filled with great performances, fantastic categories and tons of fun!

Only an event as cool as the Flameworthy's could bring together such an eclectic crowd. From Shania Twain to Sheryl Crow to Queer Eye for the Straight Guy's Carson Kressley to Dr. Maya Angelou - everyone showed up to honor country's best and brightest!

Dish was there of course, so here's the um, Dish on what the stars had to say:

Jimmy Wayne about Dolly Parton: I wanted Dolly Parton to sign my journal. (Jimmy Wayne has told us in the past that he's a devoted journal writer, and he's been at it for years!) I actually brought my journal, so I do have it here. I just document a lot of stuff, like who I see in the hallway, to kissing Dolly Parton's hand when I ran into her in the hallway.

Jimmy Wayne on his mother's best advice: Don't let any girl stand in your way. Because, you know, when we fall in love we give up on everything else sometimes.

Blake Shelton on married life: I'm learning as I go. Just like all you other bastards in here, don't act like you aren't.

Blake Shelton on advice from other stars: One day when I was on tour with Toby we were shooting some hoops. Toby walked over to me and said, 'Blake, you ever wonder why I asked you to do this tour with me?' And I said, 'Well, yeah I have. This is the biggest thing to happen for me in my life.' He goes, 'To prove to people that I don't really need an opening act.' The tour was sold out every single night. So I learned that Toby's sense of humor is similar to mine, real dry and completely joking. The one thing I've learned from Toby is that it's okay to be yourself and to stand for things you believe in, even in your music. And he's done that. Whether you love him or you hate him, you can't say that you don't respect him.
